Morning Intentions
I feel that setting a daily intention at the beginning of each morning is essential for me to map the trajectory of my path for each day. I like to think of intention as a road map to where you are trying to go. That doesn’t mean that I will not have any detours or curve balls thrown at me. It just means that I am setting my mind and heart about what kind of day I want and see myself having it with conviction.
I like to have my coffee, sit on my bench by my pool or by the flower garden out front and give thanks to God for all of my blessings and it is then that I set my intentions. Then I let go and let God. Now, for those of you that know me, know that I am a control freak. I let go and let God, then I take it back, then I surrender it all again. Surrender is daily; it is a challenge for me to let go. The beauty is that is each day is a new day for me to practice and trust the process.
